Tiny Art Show Kick-Off!

All ages are invited to join us in our second annual Tiny Art Show and share your painting talents! The Tiny Art Show will be taking place across Portage County, including Aurora, Brimfield, Garrettsville, Streetsboro, Randolph, Windham and our Bookmobile. Participatation is limited to 40 people per location (20 at Windham). Visit any participating location to register and pick up your art kit in-person starting April 7 to April 12, or while supplies last.

You'll receive a 3" x 3" canvas, paints and a brush, plus some prompt for creative inspiration related to our theme, "Scenes from Spring." Return your canvas to your local PCDL branch by April 19. Art will be displayed starting April 21 - April 28. 

Important Details for Submission

  • Any age can participate.
  • Create a piece of art using the supplies provided. You may also use supplies at home, but you must use the 3" x 3" canvas.
  • Do not frame your canvas.
  • Please use the theme "Scenes from Spring" for your subject matter. Please keep your paintings family-friendly.
  • Return finished artwork to the PCDL Branch you picked your art kit up from by April 19.
  • Art will be displayed April 21 - April 28.
  • By submitting your art, you are giving permission to the Portage County District Library to display, photograph and promote it.
  • One set of supplies per person; you may only participate at one location.
  • Participants who submit their art for the exhibit will be entered into a prize drawing (one at each participating branch location). Drawings will occur by May 5.
  • Please note that the library reserves the right not to display paintings that could be considered offensive.
  • If you wish to keep you artwork, please pick it up from your local PCDL branch by Saturday, May 10.
