We’re excited to share some important updates to our SearchOhio system that will improve your experience when borrowing materials! We’re currently working on several upgrades behind the scenes to make everything run smoother and more efficiently.
Before launching, we’re conducting internal testing to make sure everything works smoothly. Once internal testing is complete, we’ll begin soft-launch testing with other libraries in the SearchOhio consortium. Our staff will place holds and test the system in real-world scenarios to ensure everything functions properly before going public.
After thorough testing and final adjustments, we’ll open the system for public use! You’ll soon experience a smoother, faster, and more efficient way to access materials across SearchOhio. These improvements will make it easier for staff to manage resources and for you to find and borrow materials without delay. Plus, the upgrades will protect your privacy and enhance the overall user experience.
