We invite you to enter the PCDL Pet Calendar Photo Contest!

This is an online voting competition, where participants enlist the help of their family, friends and followers to cast online votes for their beloved pet in the hopes of having their pet be one of the top 12 to be featured in the printed PCDL Pet Calendar for 2026. Entries are due by October 1. Voting will take place online from October 6 - October 25. Submit entries to photos@portagelibrary.org.

All submissions must follow these guidelines in order to be considered for the pet calendar:

  • Photo should be square 1:1 format.
  • Photo must have a literary theme. Photos that are submitted that do not have a literary theme will not be included in the poll.
  • Photo must be 3000 px by 3000 px minimum.
  • All photos must be original pet photography containing no images of people and be taken by the entrants.
