Learn to play Mahjong in 6 fun, hands-on classes—no experience needed! Patrons must commit to all 6 classes, as each class builds upon the previous. Spots are limited to 12 adults.

Be one of the first to sign up!  You'll begin and end with the same group of players who will meet twice a month to learn how to play Mahjong like a pro. 

Registration is required. This series takes place on the following dates:

  • December 3, 2025 from 1:30-3pm
  • December 10, 2025 from 1:30-3pm
  • January 14, 2026 from 1:30-3pm
  • January 21, 2026 from 1:30-3pm
  • February 4, 2026 from 1:30-3pm
  • February 18, 2026 from 1:30-3pm

Registration instructions:

  • Call the Aurora Memorial Library at: 330-562-6502
  • Inform the staff member who answers the phone that you would like to register for the Mahjong for Beginner Series and ask for Annette or Kat
  • Annette or Kat will collect your information and manually register you for the full series
  • You should get a confirmation email upon registration to verify that you have been successfully registered
  • Further instructions will be emailed to all registered patrons before the start of the first session
