Art Studio: Intro into Kinusaiga

Make a beautiful cat or dog foam board!

Utilizing fabric scraps on a small foam board, you will create a small collage of fabrics that resemble a stained glass and quilt combination. Garrettsville Branch -

Learn the basics of the traditional Kinusaiga technique! Utilizing fabric scraps on a small foam board, you will create a small collage of fabrics that resemble a stained glass and quilt combination.

You will simply peel off small sections of the double adhesive tape that has been pre-applied to the foam board. You will place a small scrap of fabric onto the adhesive. Using a seam ripper, you push the excess fabric into the grooves (pre-cut by your YA librarian). Register to choose your design (Cat or Dog) that your YA librarian will pre-cut.

Be advised that there will be use of seam rippers which are sharp.
